Xiaomi Pocophone F1 certified by SIRIM Malaysia, live images and retail box revealed
Recently, there are two new Xiaomi devices being certified by SIRIM Malaysia. Besides the Mi 8 that has been reported earlier, Xiaomi’s upcoming gaming oriented smartphone A.K.A Pocophone F1 was also been approved by SIRIM Malaysia.
Based on foreign media’s report, the Xiaomi’s affordable Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone is already on its way with some of the key specs and features accidentally got out via a Bluetooth certification.
From the image above, we got a clear view of the key features like liquid cooling system for the Snapdragon 845, dual back camera setup and a generous 4,000 mAh battery.
As for the rest of the images, they revealed an anodized aluminum back – hence no wireless charging – bottom speaker grills, USB-C connector and a 3.5 mm audio jack position on the top.
The rear panel accommodates the cameras and the fingerprint reader. On the front side, it basically resembles the design of the Mi 8 SE with relatively thick side bezels, chin and big notch.
However, the Pocophone correspondingly offers just a front-facing flash instead of an advanced 3D face recognition technology as seen on the Mi 8 SE.
