WhatsApp’s latest update offers group audio and video calling feature
Before WhatsApp release the sticker feature for Android users, the leading instant messaging app has finally began rolling out its long-awaited group audio and video calling feature. The new feature will allow users to host a conference call with up to four people at any given time.
The latest gesture will be available in both IOS and Android OS. WhatsApp claims that video call made through this function are end-to-end encrypted. WhatsApp also promised that the app should work reliably, even with countries with less-than-favourable network conditions.
While the company is rolling out the new feature in batches, user might not get it instantly through manual update. To date, the app has more than 1.5 billion monthly active users, and many of them rely on the instant messaging app as their primary form of communication.
