LG Q8 unveiled with Snapdragon 450, 4GB RAM and more
After a busy first quarter of 2018, LG has announced its latest smartphone in the company’s Q-series — LG Q8 (2018).
The LG Q8 (2018) features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ FullVision display, Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM expandable storage up to 2TB. Camera wise, the device houses a 16 megapixel camera sensor on the rear panel and a 5 megapixel 100 degree wide angle selfie camera.
The phone has a rear fingerprint sensor and comes with a built-in stylus. Furthermore, the device is MIL-STD 810G certified for military grade build and is also IP68 certified, ensuring water and dust resistance. Its additional features include Portrait mode, QLens, Hi-Fi quality audio, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, and Hi-Fi Quad DAC.
Connectivity wise, it includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS, and USB Type-C 2.0. LG Q8 is running on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-box and powered by 3300mAh battery capacity with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.
Pricing and Availability
The LG Q8 (2018) will be available in two color options — Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue. It is priced at 539,000 won (~RM1960) will soon be available for purchase in Korea. The company has not yet to announce its availability in other regions.
