Leaks indicate next-gen iPhones preorder could start on 14th September
Recent leak by some German operators hinted that next-generation iPhones preorders could start as early as 14th of September. This date follows well on the track record on previous release dates of iPhones.
Besides Apple’s annual WWDC which is usually held in June, the release of several previous iPhones are all within the second and third week of September. The rumored iPhone announcement event on the 12th of September also fits well with the preorder date or 14th.
According to rumors, there will be 3 iPhones coming in different sizes to be announced this year, with the largest one coming with dual-SIM, an iPad without Home button, and new Apple Watch that will have improved screen-to-body ratio.
The 3 iPhones sizes are 5.8 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.5 inches. All of them are expected to come with sizeable notches on the display as well. Looks like Apple is forced to follow the smartphone trends of having bigger screens which is despised by the late Apple legend Steve Jobs.
