Aside from Lenovo Z5, the company has also launched a few other products in the event at Beijing. Lenovo has introduced an updated version K5 Note with better hardware, another budget Lenovo A5 smartphone, a new Watch X smartwatch and has showcased the latest 4.0 version of its ZUI user interface.
Specifications wise, the 2018 version of the K5 Note features a 6 inches 18:9 IPS display, Snapdragon 450 processor, 3/4GB RAM + 32/64GB ROM with expandable storage up to 256GB.
Just like the others major phone brand, the K5 Note is equipped with dual camera setup on the rear panel featuring 16 megapixel + 2 megapixel camera sensors. On the front, it houses a 8 megapixel unit camera sensor with support of beautification features. All are powered by a huge 3,760 mAh battery and runs ZUI 4.0 on top of the Android 8.1 Oreo.
As for the Lenovo A5, it features a 5.45 inches display, MediaTek MT6739 processor, 3GB RAM + 16/32GB ROM with expandable storage up to 256GB. On contrary to the K5 Note, the A5 runs ZUI 3.9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Camera wise, the A5 sports a 13 megapixel rear camera sensor and 8 megapixel unit on the front. What makes it interesting is that the A5 got a bigger 4000mAh battery capacity than the K5 Note.
Meanwhile the ZUI 4.0 is nothing special, Lenovo still managed to stressed on some key selling points of its user interface. The new version comes with optimized full-screen gestures that can be used instead of the standard software buttons and better CPU and memory management that should keep the phone running smoothly for months or years to come.
Last but not least, Lenovo has also announced the so-called Lenovo Watch X with six sensors – geomagnetic, barometer, heart rate, blood pressure, gravity, and a gyroscope. The sleek design housing that holds sensors and 600mAh battery capacity retaining the classic look of a standard watch. Official claims the watch can last up to 45 days per charge with Bluetooth 5.0 LE (Low Energy) for a better day to day usage. We also have water protection of up to 80 meters.
Pricing wise, Lenovo K5 Note is priced at CNY 799 (~RM497) for the 3/32GB version and CNY 999 (~RM621) for 4/64GB version. The Lenovo A5’s asking price is said to be CNY 599 (~RM372), and the Watch X should hit the market with a price tag of CNY 299 (~RM186) for the so-called Milanese strap variant and CNY 399 (~RM248) for the leather strap variant.
