Nokia X6 with SD636, notch display is now official in China, priced at about RM800
HMD Global just announced Nokia X6 in China. As expected from the previous rumors, X6 is a mid-range Android smartphone tjhat comes with promising price tag and features.
Nokia 6X features a 5.8 inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is a notch on the topside of the display where the speaker, camera and other sensors are located. Unlike iPhone X, Nokia 6X come with chin at the bottom of the bezels. Nokia decided to push the fingerprint at the back of device leaving the chin with Nokia wording.
The back panel of the device is made of glass. It boasts 95% glass coverage and metal side frame. Dual camera setup with LED flash is spotted at the back panel. It is consisted of a standard 16MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP monochrome sensor with f/2.2 lens. The front facing selfie shooter is a 16MP front-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture and face unlock capabilities. All of the cameras are aided by some nifty AI tricks – background blur, face recognition, dynamic expression and filters.
Nokia X6 is powered by Snapdragon 636 and paired with 4GB of RAM with choices of storage of 32GB or 64GB. You have the option to expand the storage via the Hybird SIM tray. Fueled up the device is a 3060mAh size battery that charge via USB type C connector with QC3.0 support. Nokia X6 is operated by Android 8.1 Oreo and the phone is promised to get Android P in the future.
Apart from the hardware and design, the exciting part of Nokia X6 is its pricing. 4+32GB variant priced at CNY1299 (RM807) and the 4+64GB variant goes for CNY1699 (RM1056). The colors options available are blue, black and silver. The Nokia X6 can be purchased on May 21 in China however the availability outside of China is yet to be confirmed.
