At the Facebook developer’s conference today, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO revealed that Facebook will introduce a dating service in its app soon.
While the information about dating service is still scarce at the moment, Mark Zuckerberg is powerful enough to shock the stock of Match Group, Inc. tumbling as much as 18%.
Most major dating apps – including Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Coffee Meets Bagel, and even Fleed – require you to connect the app to your Facebook account in order to sign up for the service. In this case, Facebook at the action would definitely eliminate the middleman status.
However, we have no idea about the Facebook dating service, either to be like the usual dating app or an innovative player in the game? It could instead be more like OkCupid and Match.com, where you fill out a lengthy profile and answer lots of questions to help you match with a potential partner.
Facebook with a massive amount of data in hand, they would stand as gangbusters among the dating app in the future.
