At the recently ended MWC 2018, Asus wowed the crowd with their newly launched Zenfone 5 series which consist of Zenfone 5, 5z and 5 Lite. However, the Zenfone 5 Max is somehow missing from the introduction of the latest Zenfone lineup.
We believe that this model does exist but failed to make an official appearance at the event. And we are right about that because its Wi-Fi certification has appeared on Geekbench revealing it will be featuring a Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB of RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo.
Besides the Zenfone 5 Max, the vivo X20 Plus is another smartphone that will be using the Snapdragon 660 SoC. In this case, we are expecting the 5 Max will likely fall under the upper mid-range segment instead.
That’s all the information we can get from Geekbench. Stay tuned while we find out more !
