Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro spotted in benchmark test

According to GizmoChina, Sony will unveil another premium flagship called Xperia XZ Pro or Xperia XZ2 Pro. It is a smartphone with the same moniker which appeared on HTML benchmark test.

From the screenshot, the Xperia XZ2 Pro, with model number H8116, has a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is said that it could be the world’s first smartphone to feature 4K OLED display. Sony is finally ditching the OmniBalance design that it has been using for its smartphones since 2013. The smartphone was first spotted in December 2017.

Xperia XZ2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 845. It has 18MP + 12MP dual camera setup, 13MP selfie camera, 64 GB and 128 storage options, microSD card slot, single-SIM and dual-SIM support, IP68 certified body and 3,420mAh battery. It is running on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Sony may reveal the smartphone alongside with Xperia XZ2 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The smartphone may arrive in the market in June with a price tag of around 6,000 Yuan (about RM3800).
