Huawei Malaysia just announced a teaser of reveilling its brand new devices on 10th June 2014 on its Facebook page. We guess that the device probably would be the Huawei MediaPad X1 which was unveiled in the MWC Mobile World Congress 2014 at Barcelona few months ago.
This MediaPad X1 is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin910 1.6GHz quad-core processor which also comes packed with the built-in Mali450 GPU and LTE Cat4 (a.k.a LTE-Advanced) 150Mbps capability. There is also 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with the support for up to additional 32GB through the built-in MicroSD card slot.
The most interesting part of of MediaPad X1 is the design of aluminium unibody shell, featuring a light weight of 239g and also a very thin profile, thickness of only 7.18mm. The display of MediaPad X1 is the 7”, 1200 x 1920 LPTS full view angle screen with 323 ppi. It seems awesome that the front panel has 80% screen to body ratio.
So far, this device is already launched in China with the price tag of RMB 1799 (about RM 935) for a 3G model and the price tag of RMB 1999 (about RM 1040) for a LTE model. It seems that this MediaPad X1 maybe coming in Malaysia at an affordable price tag.
